Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I had to clean a poopy bum and trim butt feathers last night. Lark has had poop smears on her eggs, so it was time. It would have helped to have another pair of hands, but I took advantage of Freya being gone with DH and the house being very quiet. It also helped that I had only one light on in the house and I used the red light on my headlamp. When Lark got agitated, I put a dark cloth over her head. She is NOT used to being handled at all.

She seemed to like the blow dry at the end. I thought she'd freak at the sound of the hair dryer.

Dang appoinmets! Up since 530am. The new natural alarm clock started at 530am and has not stopped since. Held papa for a while and carried him over to collect eggs and the ladies were like, "who's the stud?" but came right back in with him. Oh, well, going to the video call, yuck! It's about my BP.
Catch you all later!

I hear that about appointments. I hate going to the doctor(s) but with some of my conditions it is unavoidable. I have 2 appts. this week. They will cut into my drinking and smoking time.

Nice easy day at work. It was a small GM truck. GM = general merchandise. GM trucks can be a real PITA so it was nice to get it knocked out and get home to enjoy this fine weather. Currently sitting at 66 degrees here. So I am going back out to putz around the yard. Need to set some fence posts and remove some. So glad that the tractors have drink holders for my liquid encouragement. :drool

So many rain alerts on my phone. Thunderstorms and gusty winds. Rain will begin... Rain will begin.... Rain will begin.... My deck is completely dry. Not one drop of rain. Fake weather, Fake News. Just can't trust anyone anymore
I saw those this morning, one small but possibly severe electrical storm.
Best to double check any weather drama ;)

We had thunder at 2 am this morning. It woke me up, but I didn't hear any rain. Went out this morning to open the coop, and nary a drop. I'm fine with that, as I had a digging project today.

My neighbor bought a couple of apple trees 2-3 years ago, and they don't get enough sunlight where she planted them, and she didn't have a better spot. She asked if I wanted them (heck yes!), and we dug them up and replanted them. My arms and back are discussing this and they are complaining. :gig
