Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I just experienced my first broody poo. Got her out to eat and drink and went to do a few other chores. Came back a couple minutes later to find my disgusting dog ROLLING in the most enormous black poo I have ever seen. Needless to say, it turned into bath time.
Sorry but...

Fermented feed: i only let my pellets hydrate overnight at the longest unless in the fridge. Smelled off when i tried 2 days at room temp; same with the grain.??? But as long as it's not bad they scarf it down even though it is the same as what is already in the bowls (dry pellets)! I just cover it with water and let it fluff up on its own; no stirring until i serve.

Two roosters need a home! They are not ours. One buff brahma and one mystery. Filthy water, no food and tiny coop! They need to go, they are free! No pictures available but I can try to get some of you are interested.

PM me for more info.

Wow! What a day yesterday for me and my great sisters and their friend! If it was not for them, not sure when I would have checked on Ethel, my very pregnant goat. One of my sisters heard a baby crying and found a baby goat all wet from the birthing, so she grabbed her away from Ethel (as Ethel was tested positive for CL and CAE, and will have to be put down as soon she gives birth, so she could not touch her babies to prevent her from transmitting the diseases) and she ran into the house looking for me(I was in the woods checking the storm damages) When my sisters went back to find me and check on Ethel, they found another baby, another girl! I grabbed her away and we gave both of the a bath, as we were drying them, I had a feeling that I should check on Ethel again, so I went and found another baby!!! A boy this time! WOW!!! Triplets!!! Boy, my hands will be full for a while taking care of these cuties! I got cow's colostrum for them as cows and goats do not share the same diseases. The boy weighed 8 lbs!!! The two girls weighed 6 1/2 lb!

Today started at 5 with a puking dog and just about the time I got back to sleep the toddler woke up. Should have just gotten up and gone to the basement to do yoga. Of course there's no school today either so I will be looking for that coffee drip iv today.

Collected 22 eggs yesterday. I swear they lay more every day! Might attempt to build a broody coop if the weather is decent today. Not sure since all my helpers will be here. Might weed the strawberries and work on leash manners with the foster dog instead.

Very cute goats.

The sun is trying to shine this morning. Waiting for 2 chicks to hatch in the incubator. We had 5 hatch last weekend.
I want to put my onion sets outside in the garden this weekend. Have a great day everyone.:):)
