I like your incubator! Good luck!
Totally not chicken related.... I have lots of boys clothes sizes 2,3 and 4. If anyone is interested come and get them! You can buy chicks while you're here too.![]()

Ortonville/OxfordWhere are you located? I have a little boy that's growing way too fast.
When will I be able to sex my silkie? She/he is 9 weeks and barely has a comb or wattle. I've heard you might have to wait until 20 weeks; but even then, how will I know?
I'm in Zeeland and mine have been out at night for weeks. I have them in a pen, and they all march into a dog crate that I put inside the barn at night, so they are nice and warm. It's pretty funny as I have a second group of 5 week olds I just put out last night and they march into their carrier now, too (they are in a separate pen for now).Would someone be kind enough to pm this answer......
This is our second year raising chicks. I forgot how old, or the temp it needs to be outside, before I can move them to their own outdoor coop.
The chicks are about 5 to 6 weeks old and seem fully feathered. They are 1 barred rock, 1silver laced wyandotte and 1 leghorn.
We live 5 miles from lake michigan just north of Muskegon. It is still getting into the upper 30's at night.
The chicks are getting big but I don't want to put them outside to freeze.
Thanks for the help. Please pm me.
