Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

flying out to seattle tonight for a little vacation and wedding on san juan island..gone for a week, will be nice to get away, I'm just frustrated that I have lost so many birds to this (these) darn fox! I will have a pelt on my wall soon mind you... we are going to set this b stard up to fail when we get back!

note to self - never mess with the bees without smoking them first...... OUCH!!

Welcome to the new folks!

I agree, plucking a non standard feather is cheating... if your bird is not to standard in it's natural form, it is not to standard. Some faults are allowed, so show him as he is and if the judges say he's not up to snuff, get another bird.
Have fun you guys! I'm headed the opposite direction. Maine to see the in-laws and my Mom and Dad. Dad is having heart surgery today so it's not such a vacation but I'll still try and eat as much Lobster as humanly possible.

Anyone have a good home remedy for stinky dog ears? Both my girl dogs have an odor to their ears, perhaps a yeast infection.

There is no discharge or visible debris and it doesn't seem to bother them. Just a strong odor.

I know this sounds funny but wipe a lil vagicel in them its dose work. My dad uses it on his beagles ears since 1 has ocd and licks the others ears non stop. The one that gets licked is the one with the yeast infection. I told him and he started doing it and hasn't had a issue (bad one) since.

Surely THAT product is not in this house.
