Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

nice to hear from you Grammi, Happy Valentines Day to all. the sun was out most of the day here.

had to bundle up for the dogs walk, but wasn't to bad, aside from almost being blown over but is he happy, NO now he wants to play tug of war, a very needy pup

Well as nice as San Diegos weather is, I'm glad to be coming home Sunday. I'm going to take a drive up the coast tomorrow since I have a day off.
Are you sure you don't want to postpone that for a few more days? Its cooooold here.

I am just wondering if it is ok to integrate chicks of varying ages into the same brooder. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
Like others have said, it works as long as they are close to the same size. I prefer to split my hatches into groups of 6 or so in the brooder because that way no one gets pushed away from the feed and it pretty much stops runts and/or agression.

Happy Valentines Day everyone, Wishing you a day of Joy.
you too.

Offff.... Halfway thru V-day weekend. Got a lot of clients who haven't been in a while to get a massage. Tomorrow its couples.

That snow, the cold, and the wind out there can knock it off anytime now. 12 was pretty dicey coming home tonight between Saline and Clinton. Washtenaw county plow drivers probably all wish they could flip their blades around on the front of their trucks. with the way the wind is blowing, they probably would have it easier if they could just plow it all across the road with the wind.

But I did do the good boyfriend today and dropped off a few tokens of appreciation to the girlfriend. She sent me an edible arrangement deal at work. I bought that home and sorted it all out, cut up the strawberries and put most of them in the freezer. Rest of it will get to go out to the girls in the morning.

Temp is currently sitting at -1 right now with a whole lot of wind left.
