I really need to do this! Sigh, better get to work on this pronto, because I am pretty sure the eagle in the tree just licked its beak and winked at me.

Those kids are really cute! Congratulations on them!So not poultry pics, but pretty darn cute! I do have a bunch of Magpie ducklings hatching in the incubator, though! I've given the goaties their barn names, so I have something more to go on than "adorable wee goatie lass!"
Thx for the feedback n the coop. I agree w everyone saying that design is too small. The Mrs. likes it because it looks "farmy".
I think a walk in is out of budget/skill level. Also im not sure if one would fit where i want to put the coop.
I am certainly open to ideas and comments on this though. i want to house 15ish birds. Ive budgeted up to about $500, but need to keep a run in that budget too
you could easily make a hoop house out of cattle panels with a good run for that. you could paint the frame and door red. , maybe watch craigs list and get an old shed. check out the coop section. a square frame with pre painted boards for the outer walls, maybe a slant roof. nesting box's and roosts can easily be built out of scrap wood you can get windows from someone that installs new ones, doors to maybe even a dumpThx for the feedback n the coop. glad you got to go and meet up with others. there are some very pretty pidgins out there now. does he do carriers?
I have a question. We just moved into our new house and the wife is wanting to get goats now that she has seen your pictures. I know nothing about raising them. The previous owner had a pen that he raised sheep in for 4H. I want to say its about 24 x 24 with a little 3 sided coop in it. What else if anything would I need? Thanks for any info you can provide.
This is also what i have read. Plan for at least 2 goats seems to be the ruleI know nothing about goats except what I have read here and I think you need at least 2 as they do not do well alone
