My cockrels are four months old, and it's time to move most of them on. Today I took some pictures. Anyone interested? Mary

The Mrs is interested in blue eggs. Anyone have any blue egger chicks or pullets in the Lansing/potterville/charlotte area? So far it looks like pure Ameraucana and Araucana breeds are an option.

Cream Legbars also lay blue eggs. Any Easter Egger will be hit or miss with egg color, since they can lay any color of the rainbow, so that is good to exclude them if your Mrs desires truly blue eggs.

We have 3 EE's laying light green eggs. I think they're pretty. She doesn't NOT like them, she just mentioned to me tonight that she'd like blue eggs.

Any reason to get another couple chickens I'll jump on, so I of course told her I'd see what I could find out ;)

If anyone has some blue egg layers for sale feel free to let me know. I'd probably prefer pullets either in lay or close to it, but won't turn away chicks either.

Amy and me went to the Jackson County fair tonight to go see Gabriel Igleases perform. Yes he is Pee your pants funny! Amy will tell you that her inner thighs hurt because she was laughing so hard. Anyways, we got there early to check out everything else there as our tickets for Fluffy also got us into the fair as well. Anyways, we're going thru one of the horse barns and they got a pair of Mini horses that somebody is trying to sell and someone says that she would want them. I already know that Mom would say know to those mean little buggers. quickly talked her out of it, but it kind of makes me worry about what she'll want next. Like Silkies perhaps??

Does anyone have a link to a good necropsy picture? I have a bird that just dropped dead and I'd like to see if there was anything noticeable. However, I have no idea what to look for or at. Can you think of anything that would be helpful?

Maybe search necropsy here using the advanced search.

UK has a good pics of the anatomy http://www2.ca.uky.edu/smallflocks/Avian_anatomy.html

Best bet would be to send bird to lab as disease might not be apparent to naked untrained eye but need testing of tissue.
Tho not sure where or how.
