My BF was sitting near a window yesterday when an ermine went by through the snow - under the porch, around the bird feeder, then vanished. I went out later and found its tracks all the way around the coops and pens. I sure wish I had seen it! Every time something like that happens it makes me very happy that I took the time to varmint-proof the whole place. I love living out in the woods, on the edge of actual wilderness, and get to see such beautiful creatures. Especially when I know my chickens are safe!
Maybe we can meet one day and talk chicken. LOL
so getting ready to do a spring worming before they start to lay again, never can remember do you put fenbendazole on skin or in mouth?? long time ago vet told me to put it in the water, for 5 days. never know how much each bird is getting. I think it is easier to put directly on bird. What do the majority of you do?
