Does anyone know if TSC or FFH ever vaccinate for Mareks? I didn't know if it would change from store-to-store or would be a corporate-wide decision. This is my first season buying chicks in a while, and last time I purchased from a hatchery. I am trying to buy local regardless as I'm only looking to add 3 new chicks!

I doubt it, but ask your local.

As of last year, neither offer vaccinated chicks here. You can place a special order through TSC, and have them vaccinated, but the chicks in the bins aren't vaccinated against Marek's disease.

We got six white Chanteclers, 4 BLRW, 4 Mottled Houdan, and 4 EEs all large breed straight run The packing peanuts? well, not sure yet.

I want to order online, but many have larger minimum orders than I want to place right now due to it being so cold for shipping. Maybe I'll find someone who would want to go in on an order with me!

It looks like March will be coming in like a lamb. My extended forecast calls for upper 40's and even low 50"s for the week. That means I'll be up to me arse in mud. At least I have the pallet boardwalk in place. I wonder what the run will look like after the snow melts.

Found out yesterday that I'm going to be a grandma again!! My youngest son, who has four girls is expecting a BOY!! We're all so excited for him and his wife. It's been a journey for them.
