Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

You are a good friend then RB! I can't tell you how many of my so-called "friends" I can't even get to go with me to something they would LIKE! lol! I would love to go...but alas, this year, when we could have finally gone, we are having dinner to celebrate my BIL getting his Journeyman's Cert, and my SIL getting her masters. :/
Thank you. She would do the same for me. She lives an hour south of me but if I ever need anything or any help she will be here as fast as she can be. So it's the least I can do for her.
ROBIN-
you are supposed to go dress shopping with me tomorrow!

Id much rather go to a festival.

Theres a CHICKEN FEATHER explosion outside. Looks like someone tore open a feather pillow.

I quickly did a head count while simaltaneously telling the dog he was in so much trouble....and all are accounted for. All white feathers everywhere.
I guess they are all molting.
Lucky you. Tomorrow is the only day I'm not busy this week LOL

BYFM - that is a LOT of roos! If you need more EE hens I have two that are 20 weeks old tomorrow I'd let you have. They aren't laying yet but they have to be close!

I would love that... I can't add anymore without subtracting first...

Not me. Never had a problem with roos.

Fibber!

I got more than half of them from you!
Ok, but when I look at my bantie boys, I really don't see a meal there. It'd be a new take on fast food. One bite and you're done. Lol
Anyway, I don't mind my boys. They protect when needed and I love listening to them try to out-crow each other. Call me crazy.

Oh I love the crowing! Especially when they all get going at once!

But 7 roos for me is 4 too many!

Nova, thank you for sharing your story here. I'm sorry that you and your dad didn't get to share the chicken joy together. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Okay! So I got a call back from a lady from CL... Guess what!!!
We had a mini swap!
A roo for a lady!

Is she partridge? I don't care! She is so sweet and so wittle! The uggos are almost as big as her!
The lady said she is about 19 weeks too. The uggos are 4-5 weeks???....
The lady, also, said she is looking for some sizzles... she may take a roo if someone has a sizzle... PM me!!!
She is in Milford.

And just for the poos and giggles! UGGOS!!!

"AAAAHHHHH!!!! THE CRAZY LADY IS TRYING TO KILL US!!!! RUN!!!!"

Can someone please tell me what wry neck is? I've looked around this site and I've googled, but I'm finding "how to treat" and not "what is..."
Our SLW turns her neck nearly all the way around a lot. She's very much like an owl. Our other 2 did/do not do that. This is not (I'm pretty sure) wry neck, right? Just checking.

So busy the past few days. The Midland County fair started on Sunday and I am already pooped. We entered 25 birds (19 ducks and 6 geese) and they are all in separate cages. Tomorrow at 9 am is when they get judged so wish me luck.
