Ulk... I didn't realize you were so far... Nah that would not be worth it...Yes, I have a registered Nigerian buck, but I am a little too far for stud service. Roughly seven hours away!
I make scratch or a treat feed out of a #40 bag of sunflower seed, several bags of split peas, and a bag of scratch (from the feed store that just went out in Lowell) has corn, oats, and several other grains in it. Hope it lasts most of the winter, I Toss several cans(soup size)I find it a fact that it costs a lot of money for feed as it is, for the chickens to sort through the layer pellets cause all they want are the sunflower or cracked corn as their preference. I don't feed them more food until they eat it all up. It's like asking a kid if he wants to eat peas or a cookie.![]()
