The wind is terrible here too. It kept waking me up last night. We no longer have a trampoline, it is lots of little pieces behind the barn, at least it didn't get on the rail road tracks.(we live right next to them) Jon hasn't looked close enough to see if it is weldable.
All the big plastic toys are flipped over too. The tarp is distroyed on our meat bird cage, its a flapping in the wind.
A lot of our "lakes" in our yard have disappeared, luckily.
South of I-96 along D-19 has no power. Hubby took the tractor to Pardiac Shell on D-19 to run the generators to they can run the coolers and sell gas. Glad to be able to help a friend.
Opa to you have power? I guess if you don't you won't reply until you do!LOL
We had our last party yesterday. My cousin went into rehab yesterday, her folks put her on a plane to Conneciut before coming here. My aunt was a wreck. It is the best thing for her.
My brother left his wife and kids (3 1/2 and 2 years old) Christmas evening. He wanted them to have a good Christmas then be done. We knew nothing was wrong, it was a bombshell to me when I called their house on Saturday and my SIL filled me in. My brother is very self centered...he still talks about wanting to be an only child(he is the oldest of 4 kids).
He is living with my folks for now. At our party, which my brother hadn't told anyone and acted all fine. Just told everyone that the wife and kids were at home...which was true...
I went over to be with my SIL after the party, she is a wreck. I cannot compherhand what she is going through, since July.
We went to dinner and a movie last night, we saw Yes Man. It was funny.
Pray that my brother will have a change of heart...seems like after 14 years of marriage, you would be able to talk to your spouse when you aren't happy...
Anyways, Jack (4) is calling. He needs help restarting his Cars Wii game. The wii is fun, a lot of sore arms around here!
