My brother is at his whits end at the moment. I hope Friday they will be reassured about the treatment options.

edited to add: My brother is in Sandish overseeing the Walmart remodeling, so it is hard that he isn't here.
My mom being 'retired' (lost her job in June) is a blessing as she can be there and help out with the 3 kids.

Rick arrived safely in the Virgin Islands this afternoon at about 3pm. in the middle of a big storm. (it's hurricane season there, btw) hoping he will call soon here to say how today went.

Only thing I know for sure is it is hodgkins for sure now, the tumor is quite large and throughout the lungs, and we are going to be spending thur fri and mon in the hospital doing more scans and tests. Figuring chemo by the end of next week.

MJ -- Just got done making some sandwich spread and remembered you asked what was in it. So sorry I'm getting back to you very late. When you had asked before, we were on our way out the door and hit the road for the UP.
So here it is:

Koegel Ring bologna (skin removed) or ham
onion
mayo
sweet relish

I use my kitchen aid mixer with the grinder attachment and grind up the meat and onion. Then I add the mayo and sweet relish and mix. Everything is to taste, so use however much your family likes. I also make one that is good on crackers that uses chicken. I use cooked chicken breast, fresh garlic, a little onion, a little celery, mayo, sunflower seeds, and some shredded cheese. I grind up the chicken, garlic, onion, and celery then add and mix in the mayo, sunflower seeds and cheese. Again, it is to your taste as far as how much ingredients you use.

Got up at 5am and checked and I do have a pulse so today is going to be a good day. I figure as busy as God must be, he he is good enough to allow me another day then it is my responsibilty to make sure it's a good one.

is it wrong to get up and get the boy on the school bus then go back to bed? i feel like i am still needing sleep. i don't feel all the way 'with it yet'. my brain feels weird.

maybe the fact that i no longer get up this early that is knocking me out. i feel like i'm in a tunnel.
