Hmmm, I would like to know the answer to that also Rocky Meadows. Hopefully someone will be able to answer you about that.

Great going Wylie, feels great to get something acomplished doesn't it? I managed to get our Christmas decorations taken down and put away today. But I didn't get as much done as I had hoped to today. For some reason I spend too much time on BYC.

Thanks Rose & Briana, yes we do have some pretty property here.

Hillbilly Rooster, good luck fixing that plow pump.

Wanted to show off my Christmas present!! I picked her up a couple of days before Christmas. Never thought DH would say yes, but he is a softie! Please meet Pebbles! Note, it is easiest to take a pic of her when she is sleeping!!

Morning all, while every day is a good one, the cold temperature makes it slightly less good. Looks like the next few days are going to be rather chilly. No change that, they are going to be down right cold. My girls egg production has started to pick up a little in spite of the cold.

Cute puppy Vicki 2x2, is it a Boston terrier? Opa, my chickens are are on a downward spiral in egg production, I sure can't figure out what the difference is from one week to the next, it's frustrating!

Vicki - Pebbles is gorgeous! We had a Boston for 11 years. We can honestly say she was the best breed that we ever had. She was wonderful and so loving. You will thoroughly enjoy the breed! Of course, with ours we should have bought a gas mask

I am not sure, but I would check with MSU. They are very knowledgeable in the avian department. I need to find out when MSU is going to offer the pullurom testing certification. I heard it was in the spring sometime. I need to get certified.

If you find out anything, let us know Rocky Meadows. I wouldn't mind looking into getting npip certified, then it would save me from having to test my birds to go to shows, I believe.

I have to agree about the gas mask!! We have a male who is 3 and he was the worst!! I think I have finally broke the cycle or found a food that agrees with him because he is better now. Hopefully Pebbles won't take after him! My male, Astro, is also amazingly good at giving you a kiss and somehow slipping his tongue in your mouth!

He is so fast! My daughter's boyfriend calls him a French Kisser instead of a boston terrier!

Another trait I hope Pebbles misses out on!!

Other than that, we love our bostons!! I know some have lots of terrier drive in them, but most don't, and our boy is completely safe around cats, chickens, bunnies, chicks, you name it! Oh and incredibly patient with a certain little girl who likes to dress him up!!

For the record- it is VERY COLD outside!

Going to help the girls carry water to the chickens and ducks. I am cold just thinking about it!

Have a great day everyone

I am still on my cleaning spree. So today is the basement. Which has 4 bedrooms, a play area, bathroom and closet and a school room. I don't mess with the girls rooms, so I only have 1 bedroom to sort- the boys.

The kids keep saying how great our rec room/garage is. There is so much more room to play now!

Our girl was like that also. Every time we'd bring home another dog, cat, bunny, duck, chicken or whatever she'd just look like "geez mom, another one!" She let them all walk all over her and cuddle up next to her. She absolutely thought that anyone stopping by was coming specifically to see her also. She was such a silly girl

Vicki that is the cutest puppy!! If you change your mind and don't want her just give me a call. I will take her off your hands in a heartbeat.

We have had the coolest thing in our back fields. A pair of Bald Eagles. The crows were mobbing them on Saturday and that is the first time I spotted them. They are huge!!!

And very beautiful.
