Good Morning Everyone!

My new mattress and box springs are being delivered today- I may not know how to sleep flat...good-bye V-shaped mattress...

I just hope, considering today is my day off, that my bed is the first delivery- not the last. The time frame given to me was from 9:30 to 5... sure would hate being stuck here all day long waiting.

Good Morning Everyone.

Hope everyone got to enjoy the beautiful day yesterday, and will again today too. Lets keep our fingers crossed that the weather man is wrong about this weekends forecast.

Can anyone tell me when the ducks will be fully feathered out? I was told they would be full grown by 6 weeks old, but will they look like adults or big babies? Its so sad the time is going so quickly. Babies are so cute.

Well once again I started my mornings the way I like...............with a pulse. Actually I sort of started it twice. I awoke at 3am wide awake. I read until 5 then crashed until 730. Today appears to be headed towards being another wonderful day and maybe I can get alot accomplished.

Hey, I was listening to the radio and in a news segment they were saying something about 12 chickens and 2 ducks allegedly starved to death near Wolverine. They said the police are still investigating so I don't know the whole story but it's still sad to hear.

Does any one here know more about this and if it's a misunderstanding or not?

Also, I have no idea what a "Michiganian" is... I call myself a Michigander.

What a beautiful morning. Sun is shining, birds are chirp'n and my hens are all up on the deck waiting for their warm popcorn. Have a pair of Mallards and Canadian Geese on the pond, squirrels running about playing ...Life doesnt get much better than this.

Oh Oopsy they are too cute!! What kind of ducks are they?

We are getting some geese from Vicki soon I think. Not sure when the expected hatch date is yet. I'm so excited! We've had ducks before but not geese. We had 2 Pekin ducks that were my absolute favorite, like little feathered children

They are Pekin. 32 of them. LOL I bought them for meat production only and some will be processed in July. I do have a trio that are laying great so if anyone would like to incubate some eggs, I get 2 a day and they are fertile. Also I posted 15 of these babies on CL for $4 each. If anyone is interested in them.
