Oh my garsh, I'll call her first thing in the morning. I'll get with ya. HA!! I can just see MY sister with a car load of chickens!!!!!! she is NOT the farmer type. hahahahaha, so funny. don't you tell her I said that!!

Trying to PM to reply to the one you sent this morning, but your inbox is full, oh noes!

I think the only thing that I have that'll work for a more permanent transport cage than a cardboard box (which I found is very escapeable by chickens - personal experience

) is a big rubbermaid bin I've used to transport them short distances in the past. For a trip, it will have enough room for them all. Makes me wish I hadn't given away my soft cat carrier, that would have been perfect! Anyway, don't worry about returning it, since I can get another at the dollar store no problem!

Well, I changed my mind. Instead of bringing just white sebastopols; I will also be bringing two saddleback sebastopols. A few of the whites are actually splashes, so there will be whites, splashes, and saddlebacks. The prices are a little different per age group. I was thinking about bringing two white sebastopol ganders, but I raised them as goslings and one has really bad pigeon toe, so these would have to be sold together because they are inseperable and would only be going to a good pet home. I will only possibly bring them if someone inquires about them.

I hope someone at chickenstock LOVES millie fleur duccles because I was going through the brooders and I think we have about 30+ of them.

I have a 125 gallon pond next to my front entrance that is raised 3' and hidden by artfully arranged rocks and plants. The outflow is a rock raceway that falls 12' to a 2nd pond 65' feet away in a series of water falls. The bottom pond is 4' deep and 8'x16'. For several years it was absolutely beautiful but the work involved with keeping it that way is tremendous. It's like having another kid to raise. Due to plants getting overgrown I don't have it operational and when I think about how much work it's going to take to fix it I don't know if its worth it.

I decided that I should put a picture of me up once in a while. Hope kept asking "are you sure you unloaded that thing" as she took the picture. I think it was.

I was up until 3am smoking the chickens and back up at 7am to take them out of the mesh bags and then vacuum seal them. After many years of using a vacuum sealer I'm still amazed to watch what I'm sealing collapse. I will have a few whole chickens and some packages that contain 1/2 chicken deboned.

We have the same problem with one of our ponds. It turns bright green very easily. Funny thing is it's not even the one that gets used the most! I curse it every day!!!

Well, two ducklings hatched last night. I was thinking they were muskovy because I set them on the 28th and they just hatched, but they don't look like it. I'll be able to tell better once they dry off I guess.

I woke up this morning telling myself that I don't think I'll be going to chickenstock. Aric isn't too happy with me. I don't know why, I've done all I could do. Problem is, I at least want the birds from theron and I still have to bring your crate Kim.

The weather is NOT helping my mood.
