ChicwannaB......if you still have the hatching fever in the spring .....I told you previously that I'd be interested in a couple of the Lemons. I also want a couple of BCM, I love the color of those dark eggs. A Frizzle is on my list too but I can't and don't want to tend to baby chicks in the winter months. My chicken buying urges will have to wait till the spring.

Nova....those ducks look like they are mischievous!! lol

Raz, aren't you hens pretty young? My new hens are/were laying every day, also. Until one of the new young hens went broody. Still waiting for my blue splashes that I got at chickenstock to lay. They don't seem interested yet.

Mine are 36 weeks old now. Since November 2nd, I've been getting at least 3 or more eggs per day from 6 hens. I'm pretty pleased with that.
 
hi all....i have a quick question...i noticed today a few of my girls r squatting down and rising there wings a little when i go to pick them up...they r 22 weeks .....i read they might squat when u pett them if eggs were coming soon.....think thats it ???....everyone is acting great....thx for any help

That's what mine did, Lizzz. Then once I started groping them, the eggs started coming and it's been non-stop ever since.
