I have so many roos that I've had to put 3 on Craigslist. Hasn't worked out so well for me in the past but I don't know what else to do. If anyone out there wants them they are yours! One is a white silky mix and two are banty mix. They are keeping my hens waaayyyyy to busy if you catch my drift

Don't forget about meeeee! I'm so desperately waiting for my new babies

I've gotta tell you. I have a D'Uccle hen that is being picked on so much by these roos that everytime she sees me she comes a runnin'. She wants to be picked up and held so they'll leave her alone. It's really quite endearing but I feel horrible when I have to put her down

LOL They love those Millie ones! I had to beat the roos off of her with a stick! She would fly up on us or into the tree any chance she got, just to get away from them. There's only ONE roo she likes... the rest she spends all of her time running from

They're all getting their own coops this spring

So she'll get some peace and quiet

my D'Uccle is in with two other bantams and their man, Wellington, is not wearing them out, but covering them well.

Morning everyone!

I would have been on earlier, but my 'puter was acting "wonky"(I love that word, thanks MJ)

Opa-have a great time with your friends!

Crystal-glad it was just a sprain!

I am going to tackle some housework today. Not sure how much I will get done with 2 babies and a 2 yr old, but I'm going to try!

Happy FRIDAY!

Good Morning All! Welcome new folks!

We had a friend show up last night. He called yesterday morning and Jon conviced him to come to our place to stay the night. Chris is from Howell, New Jersey. It is 11 hours from Howell, Michigan.
He had to go and pick up a race car engine in Ohio today. Not for his car, but a car that is a division of Nascar. $40,000 for the engine...wow the things I could do with that sort of $$$.
So Chris drove an extra 2 hours to see us. It was nice to catch up and he got to see Jon's new race car engine. Chris is planning on coming out this summer with his race car and racing. For sure he is coming in September to the Springport Speedway. (I think the name just changed again)

I have to go and pack, we are heading to Imlay City tonight. Get to see Michelle too! Your eggs are ready and waiting to go.

Talk to you all later! Have a great day everyone and the weather is suppose to get warmer....I cannot wait!

Sarah

The 29th is day #21!

I am going to go through and candle all of them this weekend and I will let you know how it goes. So far the incubator has been perfect the whole time! I am glad I spent the extra even if it was hard to spend the extra $.
