One more..
these are the mystery plants that came up right in the walkway- right by the gate. I dont know what they are, so i am letting them grow themselves til I figure it out.

It is such a stupid spot, that it must be from when i fed something to the chickens...they have had all the usual..watermelon, squash, pumpkin, cucumber for Bubba..maybe spilled birdseed..

I was just catching up on posts before my nap.... I see that byfm quoted me about a big mackerel. Stupid touch pad.... That should be cockerel... But my TP wants it to say mackerel.and its. Marans cross... Not Mayan... Haha. That is so funny. My Mayan crossed mackerel!

BYFM,,,, I have hung baggies of water & pennys all over my house and run figured what the hey, doesn't cost any thing to try it. IT WORKS

crazy but it works. put 3 fresh fly strips inside the coop, a zip lock in the run over the feeder, flies all gone, got 2 hanging under the 3 season porch and it should bee very nice sitting down their watching the grand kids in the pool today. I even think it is scarring off some of the carpenter bee's that seem to like the treated wood the 3 season is made of

I really cannot believe it works! LOL!!! That is too funny! Glad you are fly/bee free!

Good Morning!
Its hot and humid in my house already- Ive still got a houseful of teens/and kids here. Daughter had a siezure last night. Shes okay but I wasnt here and freaked out the friends/neighbor kids. My older daughter is a seizure-pro, moved stuff out of the way, protected her head..called me. timed the seizure. She did a good job.

Grandson should be awake soon. Dont know how he is still sleeping. Hope he doesnt pee the bed. lol.

Im gonna catch these chickens soon and put them in crates for going to RaZs. What time are we all meeting there?

The little black Polish Uggo almost didnt have to worry about being in a stewpot, because right after I took these pictures, he flew to the top of the fence, and my neighbors' foxhound was standing right THERE on the other side-

Me: M2M calls them Uggos, I've been threatened with one.
DH: Well if you get one, tell her it's going to be eaten.
ME: I'd be afraid to eat it.
DH: Some people are afraid to eat guineas:
ME: But guineas are tasty.
DH: You know, a cross between a guinea and one of the Uggos could be kind of interesting, That guinea head and those bodies, would really look like a dinosaur chicken.

Katie- I have 3 EE hens and 2 Roos. They are only 3 months old but I love them. I believe Marans have dark chocolate eggs. I should get one of those. Lol

Hillbilly hen- Wondering if I could customize dimensions on the brooder for an additional cost? I have a possible 75 chicks coming in August and I am trying to have as few BrooderI as possible so that I have to buy less feeders, waterers, and lights.... My husband has no idea how many I am getting... Trying to soften the blow.lol. I just have fallen in love with them all...and had to get a variety
