The Meatball Subs turned out great MJ! Yummy yummy!

I'm collecting too many eggs in the fridge again so we had Ham and Cheese omellets tonight.

I must have made them too big because neither one of us ate the whole omellet!

I'm so excited. We got our first egg today from my Dels. They boys are so excited that they want to know if I can go buy a big basket just like Ms. Rhandi's to collect the eggs in the morning.

I think it will be awhile before we get that many, but it sure was good to find that first one.

We had grilled steak, homemade cole slaw, and scalloped potatoes for dinner. Boys were not in the mood for meatballs, but now they are stuck in my head. Maybe Saturday night

FYI

Yale Bologna Festival is this weekend. It's lots of fun! There have a really nice fireworks show on Friday night. Saturday is the water gun fun. You've probably never seen anything like it. Even my laidback husband has to get into the middle of it! And Sunday there is a cardboard boat race down the river and the rubber ducky race. Just a few of the really fun things!

Also, next week is the St. Clair County 4-H Fair. We are going to head over and check out the poultry and try to find a club for the boys to join. It will be easier to observe all the different clubs while we are there than by talking to someone over the phone. I was spoiled as a kid by having one of the best clubs/4-H leaders in the state. I hope I can find that for my kids. They have already shown an interest, and would like to participate in the fair next year.

Hey check out the video I took last week out in our yard. I took it through the window and I'm not good at taking video but you can still see it.

I was going to pm it to you but I thought I would share with everyone here. Enjoy!

Oh, plan on hearing from me this Febuary into the spring. I have a list in my head and if I get an incubator watch out! But I love the diffrent colored Orpingtons, I need some Cochins and the boys are a little disappointed our chicken will only lay brown eggs. Oh I almost forgot I also need some specked sussex. Then the Dixie Rainbows next summer.
