haa! i'm eating some pork sausage right now. it's delightful.
also have two loaves of bread and 6 hamburger buns rising in the oven.
i figure if the power goes out with the winds we can have hamburgers on the grill or in the fireplace and sandwiches!

(plus they are really yummy!)

to make it with whole wheat flour, use half whole wheat and half white or bread flour. it's yummy stuff.

totally right out of the oven. and it would be absolutely wrong without ooh gobs of butter!

dang it, it's starting to smell good. what if DD and me eat all of it before everyone gets home?!

BINGO!!! It's the little bitty one on the far right!! Nope, not my leghorns. Their's is the big white one on the left. This new one is one of the six girls I got from you. Finally started laying yesterday. It felt like Christmas all over again! Can't wait to see what I get today. Come on girls lets go!

My Mama made all our bread home made, with 13 children she didn't have much choice. I will never forget hot from the oven bread with frosting. Yummy, don't eat it that way now can't find a good enough excuse for that many calories LOL.

then it has to be the brown leghorn, all the others would lay brown eggs, i think. my brown leghorns have big floppy combs and are getting really red!
