Boy the food sounds so good!!!! Heck that is why I can't lose weight, food all tastes soooo good!!! The get together sounds like fun too.
Thanks for the prayers folks. My sister had partial mastectomy last February. Then I find a lump. Makes ones a little worried.
Today, even though it was cold, our chickens did venture outside. Our one little silkie hatched out a black americana and today she is chasing all the wild birds out of the pen. She is already bigger then her Momma and the other little silkies. Her Momma is a white silkie and she still mothers the little black one. Looks cute!!! I do enjoy watching some of the things they do.
Congrats on the finches. They are such cute active little things.
Been trying to do a little spring cleaning. Think that will get the warm weather here faster? Sure hope so!

Hey there fellow Michiganders! I was thinking of trying food grade DE for the coop and want to know if any of you use it and where to get it. I was hoping to find a store that sold it instead of having to order online. I live in Barry county near Calhoun and Eaton counties.

I am from Eaton County like Steve, so not too far from you. I got mine from Cutlers. I ordered ahead of time and then picked it up at a swap meet we were both attending, so I didn't have to pay shipping. It worked out great.

I had to snap a few new pics of my crew outside today...the sun makes it look warm, but we all know better....the chickens didn't mind it, they were in and out all day, even the babies.
