I'm tired.. LOL Been trying to teach the dogs to stay off the bed at night... and one just tries persistently while the other sits in the chair, staring at me in the dark, whining.... LOL But, unlike DH... I don't have to get up and go to work... I really feel bad for him, but he finally understands that it has to be done... LOL It's worse than kicking kids out of the bed... LOL

How's your day turning out? Got anything planned? I have to leave to go work on the house soon.... nasty weather for anything today

Good morning babsboys. You can't quit if your hatch doesn't work on your new incubator, it costs too much money for one try!! You'll get the kinks worked out with lots of help from these kind people that do it all the time. Have a great day!

Does anyone have geese? I have heard of weeder geese. Has anyone used these? Can you only use them in strawberries? What about peas beans etc? I have also heard if you have kids not to have geese. What does everyone think?

I just got back in from doing chores, and as I am sloshing through the water puddles I can't help but think ahead to when it will be time to wear Tshirts and shorts, start up the lawn mower, sit in the tractor seat with a cold beer in hand and mow lawn......just then a pair of ducks flew over my head and made me realize this weather was only fit for ducks.

The chickens are probably waiting for me

Those darn meaties I got hog a lot of the food..... They're going into their very own brooder soon. Man they grow FAST! I call them Mc Nugget and Mc Chicken.... sometimes Big Cluckin Chicken... LOL

Yeah, those dogs like their routine and when you change it ...it's like their whole world has been spun around. Use to have a dog in bed but got tired of the hair and who knows what else?? Bought her a big comfy dog bed and she adjusted, eventually! Good Luck with that.

i would err on the side of caution with kids and geese. as long as you are supervising, there should not be a major issue. and if there is, dinner can include roast goose.


it's so mucky out, my boots kept getting stuck in the mud and it was like super suction cup action. i may use that for a Super Power or something!

Yeah, I sloshed out to the coop and threw some cabbage in there and scratch and opened the pop door and ran for the house. I see ducks in all these ponds .....gosh didn't know the neighbor had that big pond out in back! Ducks sure are enjoying it, tho. Bet Kristen has a "natural" pond in her horse pasture.

Ok, she may not think it's too funny.
