I have also used Cutlers a couple of times and been very happy with them. They were cheaper than anyone else, super fast shipping and when I was going to a swap meet they were going to be at, I ordered and they brought my order there, saved me shipping charges and guaranteed they would have what I needed all ready for me. Haven't written in awhile, do check to see whats up tho. Today I finally started up the bator I got from my aunt. Its the same one she used when I was a kid. It looks like a turkey roaster with air holes in it! I just threw whatever eggs I got this morning in it. Wish me luck!!

It snowed this morning YUCK!! but now its gone. Next weekend there's a swap meet at the TSC in Escanaba - hour north of me - might go to it. Zookeeper (Jean) -- any idea of where it is?? If I don't make it, there will be another at our local feed store the following week. Some way or the other, I'll have chicks in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait!! Steve -- glad to hear the DIL and baby are doing well. My prayers were with you.
P.S. should be walleye fishing next weekend as the ice should be off the bay by then. Yum -- fresh fish. Anyway, have a good one and see you all during the week.

Up to 36 babies so far!

Some got moved out to the brooder this morning, I know I'm not supposed to open the bator, but they were just too cramped in there!

2 more hatched after I moved others out.

Cyrstal-your count stands at 3 bantams, they are all doing great!

I will try to get pics and post them asap.

I think it will be tomorrow, sounds like gpa and gma are here to play cards!

Hey everybody. We got chicks at Family Farm on Saturday, and they all made it through the first night, which is always a good sign. *G*

We got 3 black sex links, 3 grey(?) leghorns and 2 mystery bantams.

I guess our quest for a nearer 'bator for borrow is a fail ... now, who was it that I need to try and hook up with in Jackson area to relay this box o' Brahma eggs to the Super 'Bator?
