Anybody else looking forward to the weekend? Got half of the laundry done. I keep picking up the house but my cousins kids that I am babysitting keep getting things out. Now that they are napping though I did get the floor swept and mopped. Maybe after they go home I can dust and vacume. I am hoping that if I can get the house clean today, maybe by some miracle it will stay clean over the weekend and I can relax and go out hunting.

I know, neither does mine. But at least if it starts clean I feel like I can relax a little. We have a lot going on with the kids too. Grocey and costume shopping, a friends Birthday party, going to a pumpkin patch, and letting them decorate the yard. I leave all the outside decorating up to them now and just help make sure things are staked down. They even get to put the Christmas lights up.

Sounds like you are going to be busy! Maybe if everyone is occupied the house will stay cleaner! That just might work

I have so much to do and so little time, only the weekends. But by the time the weekend gets here I don't want to do any of it. As I get older I've come to hate grocery shopping, laundry, house cleaning, etc. I just want to hang with the family, bake, cook, can and spend time together (with my chickens too that is)!!!!

I wish we could afford for me to leave my job Times are hard and I am grateful to have one, but I just feel like it takes so much away from my kids.

I had posted a couple days ago that our wellie hens came back. Well.........my wife just called and she found 6 wellie eggs in an old dog house that we don't use anymore that was sitting right next to the side porch at our house. So that's where they have been hiding.....right under our noses!

A bantam hen! Everyone forgot to put a stick in the trap this morning! At least we know it works

Hen is fine, limping a little, but she ran away from Rachel when she got released.

evening everyone! well, the animal dumpers are at it again

I've got 4 new kitties though. Till I could get them food and water, I put them in my old hoop coop and even though they can climb out, they loved the soft hay and after exploring they stuck around

Now that I have me some mousers back on the premises....... muahahahah

PS, anybody want a kitty? I'll deliver

Post them on Craigslist for adoption. Im sure you find homes for all of them. Put cute pictures up on the post. Daughter and I place a lot of rescues on there and petfinder.com If you want us to post them on our petfinder page, let me know.

Evening everyone! The northern lights are out tonight. There's a lot of white streaks in the sky and to the east there's some color to it and it's larger than the lights to the west, north, and south. Very neat! Check it out.
