You page looks good. Your coop is great.

Good morning!! We had a late night last night. My SIL came over and helped me butcher 8 chickens. My FIL cuts there heads off for me and somehow cut almost through his thumb with the cleaver. My husband had to finish the deed and FIL went to ER and only ended up with 4 stitches.

I am getting better at dressing chickens I did 5 to my SIL 3.

I sure is quiet outside with 8 less roosters this morning.

I am sorry he hurt his finger ... you have to be very careful... I have scares on most of my fingers and thumbs...

Your farm looks real good!! I am on 5 acres too.. I should of wrote more on my beginning page... I will construct another one soon.
I used to help my MIL and SIL slaughter chickens... I did not grow up on a farm just visited relatives. when I married my husband his family did this all the time. I cannot kill them so I will have my SIL do it for me and I will help clean them.... My neighbors take their chickens somewhere to have the deed done.
so much for me to do on the coop... but I watch my grandchildren and some of the things I have to do require too long of an attention so I have to wait for a free day. I need a bigger run built too.
my husband is not too keen on having chickens in the backyard...

QUESTION:

Got a message from someone at our church. Their daughters are showing in the Ingham County fair starting Sunday. Something got in their coop so they are looking to purchase some birds. The message said they have to have 3 of the same breed for the classes. Does anyone have 3 of the same breed to sell? I don't know if it is LF or bantam. I am going to try again real soon to call them back. Their line was busy yesterday.

Talk to you soon

Forgot to ask if anyone has kids showing the the ingham co fair? I am able to go to the sale this year because I'm on maternity leave! Yayee! lol I wanted to see if there was a way to get a pass for that day since I've never been a buyer before I don't get anything in the mail.
Thanks!
