Feeder looks real good Daron. Like the others I would worry about one getting stuck in it. But otherwise it looks great. You sure are crafty at designing things. Maybe you should become a designer or architect

LOL!! You are so wrong for this. Gosh they are sooo cute! :: super powers failing ::
:yuckyuck Thanks RaZ, I do not think that the chickens can get stuck, I am using 2x6 boards for the walls. The Icelandics, the bantie hen, muscovys and the peafowl has been eating out of it for 4 days now, and I have not had any issue, besides keeping the feed flowing. BobBry, I feed the chickens breeder mash which is dry stuff, it has no moisture. Thank you for your concern. I appreciate any feedback. :)

I thought that too but he could fix that by having bigger holes at the bottom, so there is more food free flowing, and the chickens don't have to reach in so far. I like it though. I just showed my DH and he was impressed too....and contemplating how he could modify your desing for our coop. lol Great creativity there Daron.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will make the holes bigger for better feed flow. I went to Menards yesterday, and saw that they had 39 gallon garbage cans for sale at 9.88. So, brought 8 of them with lids. :D

Anyone want their carpets cleaned while I still have the carpet shampooer out? I guess I got into a cleaning kick today for no reason. Cleaned the house very well (except for dusting, I hate dusting!). The carpets needed it, that was some icky water that the machine was pulling out of the carpeting! Regular vacuuming can only do so much

I love Mennards, they are much better than HD or Lowes. I wish there was one near me.

I got rid of my carpet years ago because they hold so much dirt and yuck. I put hardwood floors in every room so now with shedding dogs, I get tumbleweeds. I have a broom just for inside that I use to sweep up the fur, then I throw it out for the birds to line their nests with. Maybe I should just open the door and use the leaf blower.

:yuckyuck I like Menards too, it the only big store that I am ok with, others like Wal-Mart- I hate. My sister worked there for almost half a year, until she quit to have a few foot surgeries.

Daron, the feeding station portion of your feeder isn't much different than is on my Kuhl range feeders. I doubt that you intend to have chicks in the run those feeders are placed so chicks getting caught isn't a issue. My only question is did you put a cone in the bottom so the feeder empties completely.
