Feeder looks real good Daron. Like the others I would worry about one getting stuck in it. But otherwise it looks great. You sure are crafty at designing things. Maybe you should become a designer or architect

LOL!! You are so wrong for this. Gosh they are sooo cute! :: super powers failing ::
Thanks RaZ, I do not think that the chickens can get stuck, I am using 2x6 boards for the walls. The Icelandics, the bantie hen, muscovys and the peafowl has been eating out of it for 4 days now, and I have not had any issue, besides keeping the feed flowing. BobBry, I feed the chickens breeder mash which is dry stuff, it has no moisture. Thank you for your concern. I appreciate any feedback.
Thanks for the suggestion! I will make the holes bigger for better feed flow. I went to Menards yesterday, and saw that they had 39 gallon garbage cans for sale at 9.88. So, brought 8 of them with lids.Quote:
I thought that too but he could fix that by having bigger holes at the bottom, so there is more food free flowing, and the chickens don't have to reach in so far. I like it though. I just showed my DH and he was impressed too....and contemplating how he could modify your desing for our coop. lol Great creativity there Daron.![]()

I love Mennards, they are much better than HD or Lowes. I wish there was one near me.
I got rid of my carpet years ago because they hold so much dirt and yuck. I put hardwood floors in every room so now with shedding dogs, I get tumbleweeds. I have a broom just for inside that I use to sweep up the fur, then I throw it out for the birds to line their nests with. Maybe I should just open the door and use the leaf blower.
I like Menards too, it the only big store that I am ok with, others like Wal-Mart- I hate. My sister worked there for almost half a year, until she quit to have a few foot surgeries.
