I think I'm developing age-onset ADD. I can't seem to get focused on completing this blasted mid-term. I only have 4 problems left to do but each one takes about 4 hours to do. I need to focus...right after I check the coop...then check the chicks...then water the plants...then check BYC...then...I forget. What was I talking about?

RBahmer, there are many independent rescues that can help you out. Even Pit specific. I'll keep my ears and eyes open for a home.

I know some of you raise naked neck chickens or variations. You might want to consider taking it to a whole new level. In Israel they developed a chicken that has no feathers.

Canned venison is quite easy. We do it when we run out of freezer space. We ran out of freezer space this winter but DH had a awful time getting deer last season, so no need to can any. I keep forgetting I have the canned venison anyway as I'm always trying to clean out the frozen meat first. Got to stop sending so many birds to freezer camp. Maybe I should stop growing so many?

What kind of rabbits? I have a FG breeding pair and a soild black NZ doe. I only knew someone that canned venison. Neat.

I think when we get older, it's not called ADD any more. Think it's call dementia.

I have heard that canned venison is very good. It must be because everyone that has told me that has never shared with me

There have been so few deer around here that DH hasn't gotten any the past 4 years.
