Swamp, I am also making a ranch cucumber noodle salad, so between mine and your's we'll probably have enough to go around! LOL. The tomatoes are actually coming from my garden too. SWEET!

My question: does catnip affect chickens the same as cats???? Mine have all developed a fondness for it, and eat any of it they can get through my flowerbed fence....... even the newest chicks learned it..................? But they do not eat the mint hanging from my rose pot, that somehow smells like lavendar.

OKAY he is yours! I just weighed him using my bathroom scale that I carried outside. He weighs 13 pounds. Nova called him Meatzilla. I will give him to Robin to give to you. OR maybe I can get really lucky and Robin's son will love him and keep him and he can come inside Robins' house and chill sometimes....He's a white bowling ball. But he screams like a little girl when i grab him.

Well, so far I've boiled 36 oz of pasta but it looks so small.... how much pasta to feed 100 plus people? I usually cook for 2! Maybe I'll do another box. My mom always said better too much food than not enough. Hope 1muttsfan has room in her car!

Hal is off to pick up those setter thingies for those Duke traps, too. I wish he'd come with me but he's an ornery old cuss and probably would really make 1mutts' car kinda cramped.

We could always tie him to the roof...

Splash Frizzle Roo x Splash FM (black skin)
Spash Frizzle Roo x Barred

....either cross will have some interesting outcomes... but you won't get an FM/Barred cross, if that is what you were asking.

HOWEVER...if you cross splash with splash, you get blue, black, and splash? Some will have frizzle some wont...am I right so far?
But I think the black skin is only in the barred pen? So, some will not be barred and have black skin, and the barred ones will not. Some frizzle some not.

Splash V splash = all splash

Splash V blue = 50% splash, 50% blue

Breeding splashes together leads to lighter colored birds with less splash markings with each generation - better to breed back to blue or to black (Splash V black = all blue)

Well, I know he is going to be eaten- and my hubby wont do it, and his crows are bringing Zombies into the neighborhood and that ticks off the neighbors, and its only one phone call and my entire Uggo operation goes away. So, its sacrifice the Zombiecrower or sacrifice everything. I just dont want Kayla to know. She has enough teenage hatred going on. I just reminded her that we couldnt keep Toes because of his crowing, so we definitely cannot keep this Zombie here. She didnt like me waking her up at five thirty in the morning to listen to him, so she said Okay.
And Mrs. Chimi can stay cuz she only sits around panting anyhow. Panting and pooping.

Hmmm, I wonder if he was BLUE, if I could just tell Robin that that is the blue pullet I am bringing her....
