well got all the birds, cat, dog feed and watered Raz how is you duck? wanted to ask yesterday, So much to see
I haven't found her (or a body) so I don't know what might have happened.

I didn't didn't get home until dusk last night after CS. It was light enough to see one hen fly up over the garage and continue east through the park and out of sight. I walked back to see who was still in the yard and another girl took flight and headed south over several back yards. Both ducks were flying strong.

The only ducks left are 2 drakes, 2 hens and 2 downy chicks. I knew they would be leaving, I just didn't think it would be this soon.

OK Guys, Here they are. I fell asleep last night....sorry....and this morning I had one heck of a time with these. The forum was acting up or my computer was, don't know which because it sure wasn't me!! lol Anyway I think I got a pic of just about everybody......ENJOY the flash backs of yesterday.

Had to bury DH's uncles roo yesterday evening, coons struck again. He had went up north and left his rooster and bunny in the dog pen..... it was only a matter of time. :( I think this one was a younger one, it only tore into his back and ate a little. :( Unless something else killed him, and the coon was just picking. I didn't notice until evening, when i didn't hear an answering crow. Glad i didn't know before i went to my family's party, it would've made it hard to relax. My pen is NOT predator proof, just my coop and it was definitely too warm yesterday to lock them all in all day! I captured his bunny and put him in a safer spot until i can contact him.

My feral black bunny may have to be put down today as well, he came to me a few days ago acting funny, but i chalked it up to the extreme heat. He finally got weak enough that i was able to bathe him and get most of the fleas and ticks off, and i was able to inspect him. Found infected "fang marks" on his neck, DH says cat. I still have penicillin, but i am sure it's too late for that. Got sliced open just doing that, so definitely would be dangerous to try to stick a needle in him. :( I have a cat, and generally love them, but i have no love for feral cats.
