Check this out. i was sick of my huge un-accurate incubator that used a 65w bulb and a hot water thermostat. it would swing 4 degrees between on and off!
so i found a microchip controlled thermo relay on amazon for 8$. its acurrate to .01 of a degree and sways from 37.8 to 38 degrees 100% dead on!
Simple wiring. 12 volt to power it, and the relay handles 120v 8amps. So the computer just tells the 120v for the light bulb when to turn off and on.
Its not done but the temperature accuracy is out of this world! Everything but the micro controller came from goodwill.
standard incubator build. Lightbulb and a pc fan. But now i can use a very small cooler without worrying about crazy heat fluctuations
