Yes but it’s not the same bird. It’s a different maran mix combination. It probably just came out about the same time. That’s part of the confusion right now. We are on a mmm forum and other people compare completely different marans that came out about the same time with different characteristics to the mmm ,causing the people inquiring about mmm to question if they infact do have a mmm because theirs differs from someone’s rustic rambler and dominate copper. I’m not trying to be mean at all yall but we’re talking about three different varieties of marans.

Noir maran is not the same either. They are a sex link maran and mmm are not sex link exactly. Males will grow up to be barred. But both are the same black and white for several weeks so you can’t tell for weeks so by definition it’s not sex link. Sorry y’all if it wasn’t from Hoover , you have a different maran.

Y’all read too deep the first pic is your noir maran chick stock pic from my healthy the second is mmm chick stock pic from Hoover’s and the third is my mmm chick from Hoover’s. see the similarities in mine and difference in yours. My chick looks like the mmm pics not noir maran pics
