I made milk paint for the inside of my coop. Found the recipe here:

While fun to do, in terms of a little kitchen science experiment, the stuff is hard to paint with! I need to do 3 coats and it's still streaky. And it's not that comfy crouched down in my chicken coop that is at best 5' tall, on the short side only 3.5'.
Will post pictures soon.... anyway, I am glad we have Home Depot and proper paints nowadays!
