I love the colors in Mille Fluer and once I get my breeding pens better established and some of these horrid half grown roos out of them I hope to be able to help out with a Cochin project. It is just deciding which color to go with.

So the chick in this picture is a day old born on 08/21/2009. I ordered my eggs from mypetchicken.com. I know they won't be show quality they are pets but at how old will I know if they are all roos or I may be lucky enough to have a pullet?
They are now only 3-1/2 weeks old. The one pictured has an attitude, he/she also has alot more feathering on his legs than the other two chicks that hatched. The one pictured is also darker than the other two. I wish I would have kept the mailing label 5 out of 7 hatched (she sent an extra egg). Two chicks died after hatching. I was very pleased.
