My lone MFC chick. She will be 2 weeks old Fri.

Any ideas how her color will turn out?

Her wings (I do believe it's a pullet) already look great. Looks like she will be a heavily patterned bird. BUT, does she have green feet?

Green feet? I don't know. Oh well she can't be bred. I still want her to have good color because I think it is so pretty.

Didn't I read an article or something about the bantam Cochins with green feet? Somewhere?
Anyhow, the gist of it was that the roos are ones you do not want to keep because they can cause the green feet to carry on but pullets with green feet do not pass it on.
I found that quite interesting. Especially since I had only boys hatch with green feet.

I know Josh was getting really frustrated with it. As far as yard candy, I believe you'll have nice color.

Here's the whole crew plus turkey head These turkeys are adorable. They follow me everywhere! I run outside and to my car just to watch them chase me flat out in turkey hyper speed.. flapping wings and all.. so ugly, they're cute!
