Mille Cochin Info

Lynne,
if you get a chance, I think many of us would love to see what you accomplished this year. I still wish I was able to get #12. I think he would have been super in breeding here. But o well, I guess i have other typey cochins and we will see how things go from there.

Mike,

I'll try to get some tomorrow. However, I don't take as good a picture as you. Also, something is lost when you don't have grass or Fall leaves.

I don't care about photo quality- my pics are only good as we have all sorts of different backrounds here. Especially in late spring when there are fresh apples on the ground. I don't think anybody cares as long as there are some milles in the picture. :)

Bantam cochins are a new experience for me....and I'm hooked! I just love my little feather footed babies, and my MF project birds are my favorite. ( I raise mottled as well ) Even my husband who isn't really into chickens loves my bantam cochins. I'm learning a lot from this thread and look forward to improving my birds. Thanks for the great information.

Welcome to the thread!
Gorgeous MF trio! Mottleds are awesome, too! I put my 3 month old up coming roo from one of my breeding pens as my avatar. I don't know why I have not ever used one of my MFC. Probably because I do not take good photos like Mike and Nancy!

Show us more of your birds. We would love to see them and hear about your plans for them!

I don't show my birds, but I do want to improve their type so I'll be working on that. They are so friendly and comical. My roos do a chattering happy dance when I give them treats that is too funny. My LF birds are friendly, but my bantam cochins have stolen my heart. I have a blue split to mottled bantam cochin hen that is broody right now......tempted to let her hatch some eggs, but I seriously don't need any chicks right now. She's the most broody bird I've ever had.

Adorable round cochin in your avatar, WestKnollAmy!
