Getting some good color and pattern, now work on getting that type in there. The dark, birchen looking one won;t help you in your breeding program so do not use that. Cute babies! All of these were bred from Mille Fleur parents, I believe 2 different pairs. I am working towards a bantam Calico line. Strange how one is B/W (almost Birchen) right?!?! Opinions? Thoughts??

Anybody heard from Lynne lately?
Yes- I hope so. I just haven't heard from her in a couple weeks. Usually we talk a lot but I know she said everything is tough right now. Just making sue she's okay.Yes, we talk on FB. She is tired a lot but is well on her way to getting stronger. This probably will be a year she doesn't do as much hatching but next year she may well surprise us with a lot of hatching since I am sure she will feel tons better than now.
Personally I think the more pictures the betterAnybody got pics to share or should I go get some??I know how you are also busy this time of year and don't have much time for photography.![]()
I love seeing pics of everybody's birds. It feel it helps you learn m ore about what you want and don't want in the project. SO yes, the more pics the better.Personally I think the more pictures the betterI am just getting to know these guys having just come out of quarantine. They are so different from my Silkies. I am loving them . I have just been watching them change and grow up a bit.
I do to, I know nothing about Cochins at this point so am learning about the breed and the color. I dont know wether I will breed towards Mille Fleur or Calico. I will decide that as I gain more knowledge about the Mille Fleur pattern.I love seeing pics of everybody's birds. It feel it helps you learn m ore about what you want and don't want in the project. SO yes, the more pics the better.
I love your hens. I'm not sure if it is because I don't have with that base color or what. And your buys good as well. Love the dark red on them as well.
