Mille Cochin Info

Yeah! I am so interested to see her and Rems offspring growing up--will be watching

Hope to set some eggs this weekend.

Max

Rafael- pretty sure its a he. His comb blew up like a hot air balloon since we have been at camp and turned really red. The flash of the camera washed the coloring out of the pics.

Rudy is really unique IMO. I don't want to guess who he is out of as I haven't the slightest idea. Is he the one that had the split breast as little guy?

Ned is a nice looking guy!! He is out of Dinner right? It looks as if all the cockerels you got from him as the same shade of red as he did. Love it!!

And as far as pics go, I am having probs with them to.
Yes! Good memory ~ I had forgotten about that. Yup here's his pic as a younger chick:
(back when I used to call him Ruby.. somewhere along the line I switched it to Rudy)
Really looks like a pronounced split breast here, but since he's matured a little he doesn't look like he has a split breast. Rudy is by Macho, out of either Peaches, Candy, Kipper or Dorothy probably, (Probably Kipper but that's just a guess.) as the other hens were too young yet when his egg was set, and he's from the pen that was in the coop.
Yes, Ned is a Dinner son. Dinner's oldest son is a black chick who stayed mostly black, but yeah, Ned looks like he was a carbon copy.

So Rem got into a scuffle today with my LF Cochin roo Ralf when he snuck out of his pen without me knowing. It was quick but Rem injured his leg and I'm unsure of how bad. He does walk but has a limp. Now I want to knoe if I should move all my hens in with Max, split them up between Max and Roscoe, or just keep trying to hatch from Rem but right now I have high doubts he will be mounting any hens anytime soon. I have 2 dozen eggs to set from him now including frizzles. So any suggestions?

Does anyone have any blue millfleur I could take a look at?

the one girl all I can ever get is a pic of her bloomers. LOL the other one has more mille markings now, but is a mess since she's been broody and is moulting.

and while not a cochin, these two have the same color pattern. this is a Swedish Flower Hen rooster and pullet (crested). not the best pics of them, but they're so active they're never standing still.
