Just wondering if what you call a Cochin in the USA is what we call a Pekin here in the UK cos they look the same to me?!

I am so sick of the darn foxes. They wiped out the majority of my free range flock just before roost last night. Ihad all my extras free ranging so I lost Roscoe, Peanut Butter, my only lavender orpington roo who I've had exactly one week, and a variety of hens all layers. I'm glad I got Rem and hthe ones I was selling gone Thursday. They were free ranging as well. But on a sad note- Peanut Butter and Roscoe are gone!!!
Im so sorry... sort of the trade off for free ranging

. I feel actually lucky that I have more than one reason to not let mine free range so i dont have to make that decision. We just have too many predators to even consider it.
