Is there anyone selling MFC hatching eggs? or a breeder near Wisconsin that we can meet for birds/eggs? After getting my first cochins (a blue and black pair) I realized that I want more LOL. And MFC seems to be my favorite variety.

I sell eggs when I have them but the girls are molting or coming out of being broody right now. I have Xaviers' pen raising some chicks they hatched so no one is laying there either. I have someone waiting on an 18 count from me right now that I must fill before anyone else can have some.

Surely someone has hens that are laying....Nancy?

dorkings are doing the same, as are my 'dottes... all of them extremely broody to boot.

Mine laid great most all summer and now are not. I have 2 people waiting on eggs now and the hens have decided it is spa month! Geez!

1 chick out 2 more pipped brooder set up... can't wait to see the little peepers properly. The one that hatched doesnt look mf though its yellow with what looks like a blue bum. Any ideas?!

There are 3 now and two more pips cant wait to get them out and have a proper look my bator has tiny windows. Anyone git any tips on red mite infestation. I dont know where they have come from so quickly but they are disgusting. Everyone is camping out in dog crates in the shed.and have been treated I have put loads of de in the coops and im waiting on neem oil in the post. Will they starve to death if there are no chickens to eat.
