Mille Cochin Info

Gracie is so photogenic with a mother who is a true artist, capturing beautiful moments.

Well, for the time being I am pretty much sold out of MC. I think I may have a pair or trio left when I decide which roo is not going to stay. I always have chicks growing up and was amazed when I was gathering birds for our local poultry day swap that I did not have much to take. Unfortunately, I came home with 4 Silkies! A lavender roo I had sold last fall, 2 splash hens and a red pyle project roo. Unreal how I get talked into trades! I traded Guinea eggs for the 2 amazing splash hens but was given the 2 roos. Ugh!

The fun part was when we headed home and stopped at the feed store for a bag of horse grain. One of the cashiers came out to see the Silkies because she breeds "fancy" chickens. Come to find out she has MFC. Popularity is growing!

Nice! I think your roo is going to be stunning when he's mature. Please continue to share pics!

Thanks for your nice comments guys. I am already falling in love with Dante, the man I bought him from has really gorgeous MF. He has them in so many different shades (chocolate, blue, terracotta and lemon) I cant wait to see what my chicks turn out like. I am going to have to move on some other children this week so I've got more room for Mille's!!!

Loving this thread I love to see everyone's birds.
:)
