Contact Amy of west knoll farms. If ya can have eggs shipped in or chicks. I did blue mottled hatching eggs and got a doz from her. I have 7 very pretty chicks running around right now. She has a good Millie flock too and I will def be a repeat buyer and try the Millie's next year.

I contacted her but she doesn't have anything available right now, so I will patiently wait. LOL THANK YOU

Can anyone recommend a breeder for pure red bantam Cochins? I'm trying to start breeding but I want to keep it very controlled and only pass on the patterning from my hen by inline breeding with the next generation.

I'm loving all the activity here lately. I haven't been on much lately so I'm trying to catch up. There was one cockerel I saw I really liked. I'll try find the post with the picture. Sorry but there has been so much posted on here I don't have the time to comment on everything like I would like but all of these birds are looking really good!!

OK, I have a question, I went threw some sites and checked out the Mille Cochins etc. You guys told me that my boys carry there wings to low???

And yet with all the pictures of different sites that I had checked out, Including Amy's birds.. the Rooster Cochins had there wings LOW? My Girls do tuck there wings under but my boys are low I can admit but from what I have seen and I have gone threw TONS of pics. It seems the roosters do carry them low????

So if someone can PLEASE explain to me the Low wing set I would appreciate at it perhaps, I can get a better understanding.

The best comparison would be to look at the photos on Feathersite. Make sure you look at the bantam cochins, not tthe standard size as they are somewhat different. Bantams rather than looking how the wings are carried by seeing how far they are from the ground, look at the angle of the primaries. That will give you a better idea of what to look for. The best examples of roosters are the all white roo and the blue roo on that page. Here is a link to make it easy. :]

Here's some good examples I found. Not calicos/Millie colored but that's only a color. Hope this helps. They don't point into the ground like my roos do ;)
