Yes, these chickies are from the eggs you sent us. I'm so pleased we hatched out a pair

. I really appreciate the feedback and the plan for future chicks from them. They are lovely birds and are feathering in so nicely... plus, they have such sweet dispositions.

I'm sorry to hear about your losses, Mike! It's supposed to be super hot and humid here this week as well. I am already looking forward to fall.

I have quite a few nice, up-and-coming cockerels, including some Trouble sons, that you might be interested in. Of course, shipping is on hold for now but 'reservations' can be made. ;-)

I hope we all get a break from this weather SOON!

Mike,

Please accept my sympathies on your loss.

I have Fernando who has given me great babies. He's yours if you just pay for shipping. I also have a couple pullets if you are in need. Please let me know.

Mike, if you look back in the posts a page or two NellaBean has 4 cockerels that she needs to get rid of. She's in the Knoxville area so that would't be too far of a drive.

Anyone have any tips on getting my Millie girls to lay better? My oldest hen, who is just under a year, only lays 2-3 eggs per month. My youngest hen is 6 months, has had a red comb for 1.5 months now, but still hasn't given me an egg. I was hoping to get chicks out of them by fall, but not so sure anymore.

This heat is terrible on MF Cochins I have been freezing ice and putting it in their coops and they still look like they are hot. I keeping my fingers cross until fall.
