I can't wait to see what I get from her.

I am getting some interesting chicks but they are still only a few weeks old and will change a lot before I know what I may be heading for.

Your girl does look a lot like her! I have several of these girls and have them in different pens to see what each roo may produce with that color and pattern.

I think we are headed in the right direction!

Here is her brother. I may have already showed him to you all. He is my Schmoozle. He has more red on him now as this photo was taken about 6-8 wks ago when he was about 6 months old. I have him with 4 MF hens that have good color and decent patterns. In this photo he was with my foundation MF/buff Columbian hens. I am watching their chicks grow up now.

My #2 Mille roo, Flash - alot of black

Flash is from the same local flock as my 3 hens. Jasper is from out of state. Also, I've got some nice Mottled Pullets I will be able to put with Jasper. I am so looking forward to Spring.

OMG! I could not wait for spring! You should put them together now so your chicks can hatch and in the spring you will know what to cull and move on with your next set up of breedings!

If they are laying I am hard pressed to not set more eggs but I am doing better. Since I have chicks from all 6 pens I am only collecting eggs to set from little Bantyman (named after the breeder from where he came) and Schmoozle. But I am trying not to set them. Truely, I set only 12 eggs the other day instead of 30 or more.

Your Mottleds will help with color on down the line and hopefully add to the good type. My Mottleds have very nice type and I was lucky to purchase them with my MF project birds. I have only been breeding this for 14 months and feel I am making a bit of progress.

Good luck and have fun!
