I got these 2 eggs from a "private" breeder and they were marked Millie and they were bantam sized eggs. So what would that make them breed wise? And why are they so drastically different in coloration?

D'Uccles would be my guess, too.

I got five from hatching eggs this spring. They've grown into adorable, somewhat goofy chicks. They look like they're wearing bell bottom pants as they charge around the yard. One of them is our first truly pettable chicken: if you put your hand down she'll come to it to be petted, and really appears to enjoy it.

They are probally a mili cochin or something, or possibly a Duccle cross because they don't have a beard.
