Mini Barn Coop

Underneath the pine shavings on the floor is a piece of fiberglass reinforced plastic so that clean up is easy. The end wall folds down and I can pull the whole floor out to hose it down when it gets dirty. McMurrey sent me an additional 14 Red Star Roosters to keep my box full so they would stay warm for shipping. I know the coop is too small for the 43 chicks that are currently calling it home. My order was for 29 chicks and figured a few would die off, but my plan is not quite working like I intended. The 33% that they added to the shipment isn't helping. Guess I'll be making another as they outgrow this coop. I wouldn't think Red Star Roosters would make good meat birds. We'll see.

I checked out the waterers on your page and may have to get some of those watering nipples. I have the same problem of the waterers getting full of crud. I only fill them half way and they still require that they are cleaned before they run out of water.
