I use the concentrated hair oil from cowboy magic and brush at least every 3 day if not alot more. It actually stays pretty knot free though.

So update for today: he looks good bleeding very little. I am still cleaning with diluted Betadine and applying medicated cream to wound and golden yellow salve to swollen parts and covering with panty hose. It seems much better already but still swollen

BTW, he's up to date on his tetanus vaccination, right? Did your vet want him to get another booster?

Yes he is updated and no the vet didn't want one. The pantyhose fell off the day I updated on he is better and he kicked it again and it was bleeding and worse he was also running a 103 fever but we gave him some banimine and got it under control. The bleeding has stopped and swelling is going down. He is much better now. We also got him a fly sheet that he wears outside now.
