Minnesota Cities Chicken Ordinances and Rules

I am surprised there is nothing about Minneapolis anywhere here. It is legal depending on the size of your coop. Where it is located on your property and you have to get Neighbors within 100 feet of your property to give you signed consent. 80 % of them. You then have to get the coop oked by zoning and a permit from animal control.

I am in the process of house searching and so have been noticing the different ordinances. I noticed you don't have Shoreview. Shoreview is yes with restrictions. Here is the link: http://www.shoreviewmn.gov/services/animals/chicken-licenses

White Bear Lake is no I think - they shot down an ordinance to allow chickens but I couldn't find anything where they disallow? But I could just be missing something.

Also - Mounds View just voted to have chickens with restriction. I am not sure when it goes into affect though?

Anyone in Woodbury interested in starting a group is change the "NO" ordinance?! We'll need lots of people to help!

I think Edina allows four and under and I know Minneapolis allows quite a few.
