theres a hole in the hay feild
theres a badger in the hay field
I dislike all badgers including the kind from Madison, WI.
Keep us posted and good luck!
Badgers tend to follow gopher colonies then move on. We had a pile of gophers in our horse pasture at work and Badger moved in. Eliminated the gophers and then he moved out. But he made some good holes in the pasture. We've since plowed and reseeded it. But anyways that's what I know about Badgers. Not always a bad critter to have around.
Are you talking striped gopher or flicker tails or pocket gophers?
If you're talking pocket gophers I will your Badger Holm!!
Well we had 3- lined ground squirrel colony actually. Just looked them up! They disappeared though after that badger moved in and then he moved out,.. I suppose to a new food source. I've always called those particular ground squirrels gophers but I see now that I was incorrect.
We got our chicks from Windland in Princeton and they aren't vaccinated against mereks and are on an unmedicated feed so I was thinking I would buy some hatching eggs. Incubator's cost so much though! Does anyone know someone near me that could hatch some eggs for me?
I always considered those things to be gophers too. Even if their name says otherwise.
I have 3,345,901 pocket gophers living here, I hate them..... I hate trapping them.
And I just remembered I left a jar of their feet in my beer fridge freezer, which I unplugged in Nov....They are gonna stink now....
( the township pays for their feet, they have a bounty on them)
Wow!! A person misses a few days around here and it takes hours to read and catch up with all the goings on!!
