Minnesota!

Sounds like a bad time for barn fires, I just heard back from the person who I'd pre-ordered chicks from and apparently they lost their barn and all the livestock from a fire yesterday.

That means I'm looking for a new source for a small assortment of layer chicks. I can only have 3 adults by city ordnance, but would like to start out with a few more babies to allow for losses and cockerels. If anyone knows of a source within an hour or so of the twin cities where I could get an assortment of 2 or 3 of the following breeds as chicks please let me know; black australorps, speckled Sussex, EE, OE, Plymouth/barred rock, or other cold hardy heavy layers.

I'm not picky about show quality or anything, just want some friendly productive hens, ideally producing a variety of egg colors.

Minniechickmamma. I think is her name on here haschicks in se mn

Lol, thanks, I put in an order with her about a week ago.

I have a very broody bantam cochin and I was wondering if there is anyone on here from southern Twin Cities area that I could buy 3 fertilized eggs from.
